Story
Hi, I’m Dr. Queena, and I’m so glad you’re here.
Walking in Wellness, LLC was born from my deep love of service and movement. As a Brooklyn native, walking wasn’t just a mode of transportation—it was a way of life. Whether I was wandering through Prospect Park, strolling along the Coney Island boardwalk, or taking in the views from the Promenade, walking brought me joy and a sense of peace.

My passion for providing counseling and therapy led me to Japan in 2021, where I made a conscious choice to forgo a car and embrace walking as part of my daily routine. It was there that I discovered the power of mindfulness and its profound benefits. Through that experience, mindful walking became more than just a habit—it became a transformative practice, deepening my connection to my mind, body, and spirit.

When I returned to the States, I knew I wanted to support individuals on their mental health journeys through movement. The parallels between walking and approaching life’s challenges were evident—we can conquer difficult things, one step at a time. Walking provides a unique space for healing; it allows thoughts to flow, emotions to settle, and clarity to emerge. Whether we are navigating anxiety, life transitions, or personal growth, movement creates momentum for change.
